Can esXpress backup and restore a VM with snapshots to a network share? We want to be able to backup (copy) VMs to a file share on the network from which we can restore a VM should that become necessary.
Do "free upgrades" include "major" revisions (i.e. 2.XX to 3.XX)? Or do we have to get new licenses? We have the LE license for esXpress.
I am evaluating esXpress and trying to determine whether I can just use the free version or need a licensed version. During the 30 day trial period how can I simulate Free Mode to help decide?.

Is there a way to mount the PHD files? For large files it's impractical and for me so far impossible to extract the vmdk from the PHD file and use vmount. I would like some way to simply restore a single file.
